Privacy Policy

In one sentence: AlignDay collects none of your data. Everything is stored on your own device. We run no servers and cannot see your data.

What we collect

Nothing. AlignDay has no account system, no analytics SDKs, no advertising, and no third-party tracking of any kind. The app does not transmit any personal data to us or to anyone else.

Data stored on your device

The following data is kept only in the app's sandbox on your iPhone:

• Wear and take-out records, tray-switch events, daily notes
• Your treatment plan (tray numbers, days per tray, start date)
• Progress photos (only if you take them in the app)
• App settings (daily goal, reminder preferences, etc.)

This data is never synced or uploaded anywhere automatically. The app does not use iCloud sync.

System permissions

• Camera — used solely to take progress photos, which are stored inside the app.
• Photo Library (add only) — used only when you explicitly save a photo or export a recap video.
• Notifications — all reminders are local notifications scheduled by the system on your device; no server is involved.

You can revoke any permission at any time in iOS Settings without affecting the rest of the app.

Exporting and sharing

Data leaves the app only when you actively use a share feature (exporting a recap video, a report, etc.) — and the destination is whatever you choose in the system share sheet.

Deleting your data

Deleting the AlignDay app deletes all of its local data. We hold no copies — which also means we cannot recover your data for you. Please export and back up photos you care about.

Children's privacy

AlignDay is not directed at children under 13 and, as described above, collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the effective date.
