1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading or using AlignDay (the "App"), you agree to these terms. The App is provided by the developer of AlignDay ("we", "us"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. What the App is
The App is a personal record-keeping tool for tracking clear-aligner wear time, treatment progress, and related notes and photos.
3. Medical disclaimer (important)
The App is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Its statistics, goals, and reminders are personal record-keeping aids only and do not constitute medical instructions. Always follow the guidance of your orthodontist or dental professional, and consult them for any treatment-related decision.
4. License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on iOS devices you own or control. You may not reverse-engineer or redistribute the App, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
5. Your data and backup responsibility
All App data is stored locally on your device (see the Privacy Policy). Losing or replacing your device, or deleting the App, will result in unrecoverable data loss. Please export and back up anything important to you.
6. Intellectual property
The App and its design, icons, and copy are our intellectual property. The AlignDay name and marks may not be used without permission.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is", without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, excluding its conflict-of-law rules.
